We’re back from GAME ON!

Our Human Resources team went last week to GAME ON, the recruitment event dedicated to video games and animation in Auvergne Rhone Alpes.

This event was organised by the regional video game association, Game Only, but also by Pôle Emploi and AURA Motion Picture.

We’re hiring

On the first day of the event, our HR team met a number of people looking for more information about our company.

With few explanations of our company culture and processes, the candidates gained a better understanding of how our studio works and what we believe in.

It was clearly a great opportunity for us to look for new profiles and strengthen our teams. 

The HR team also attended conferences proposed by Game Only about the jobs we are currently looking for: 2D and 3D artists, Tech Art, as well as a very appreciated conference on the programmer job by Tiny Digital Factory.

Quality of Life at Work, a year after

Jennifer, our HR Director, also participated in a round table discussion on QWL. 

Having signed the Game Only Quality of Life at Work Charter one year ago, we thought it would be important to participate in this roundtable to talk about the initiatives we’ve implemented.

We were able to talk about why we signed the QWL charter, how employees welcomed the approach, the concrete actions taken, the difficulties and obstacles we encountered, and also the benefits. We also took the opportunity to talk about our future projects.

The event was interesting to exchange ideas and pool resources, but also to discuss our difficulties and think about how OSG can overcome them. A nice moment of conviviality and exchange which helps us to grow day after day on this subject.

The best practices guide has also been updated and can be found on the Game Only website. 

Overall, these two days allowed us to meet potential future candidates for our current job offers, attend very relevant conferences from other studios and industry colleagues, and discuss QWL and our company culture for improvement.
